A Brief Overview:
The Center for Basic MR Research at Endeavor Health is seeking a highly motivated researcher with hands-on experience in preclinical magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) to join our multidisciplinary research program. The successful candidate will work with a Bruker 9.4T preclinical MRI system and participate in the development and execution of experimental MRI studies spanning neuroscience, physiology, and translational biomedical research. This position is intended primarily for a postdoctoral fellow, although candidates with substantial independent preclinical MRI experience may be considered for a Research Scientist-level appointment, depending on qualifications and institutional criteria. A successful postdoctoral fellow will have opportunities for increasing scientific independence and career advancement. Research Environment: The position provides access to a dedicated high-field preclinical MRI research environment and opportunities to collaborate across neuroscience, anesthesiology, cardiovascular research, biomedical engineering, and related areas. The successful candidate will be encouraged to develop an independent scientific profile through publications, conference presentations, collaborative studies, and grant development. Appointment level will be based on the candidate's experience and qualifications.
What You Will Do:
Independently perform preclinical MRI experiments using the Bruker 9.4T system.
Develop, optimize, and implement MRI acquisition protocols for animal research.
Operate the scanner and associated hardware and perform routine quality-control procedures.
Perform image reconstruction, processing, quantitative analysis, and interpretation.
Assist with optimization and troubleshooting of MRI sequences, coils, shimming, acquisition parameters, and experimental protocols.
Work closely with investigators conducting neuroscience, anesthesia, cardiovascular, and other biomedical research.
Participate in experimental design and development of new imaging approaches.
Maintain clear documentation of imaging protocols and data-processing procedures.
Contribute to manuscripts, scientific presentations, and grant applications.
Help train students, fellows, and research personnel in appropriate MRI procedures as experience permits.
Candidates with experience developing MRI pulse sequences or advanced quantitative imaging methods will have opportunities to expand these areas of research.

Before you apply
Applying takes about a minute. These four things decide how fast it moves after that.
Your profile is current
It's what we read first. Occupations, seniority and locations matter more than a long history.
Two examples you can talk through
Not a portfolio — just two pieces of work where you can explain the decisions and what you'd change.
A number in mind
What you're on now and what would make you move. We negotiate better when we know both.
Your notice period
Employers plan around it, and it's the question that stalls offers most often.
Once you apply, someone reads it and calls you before anything reaches the employer — usually within two working days.
