Pool & Beach Host/Hostess (Part-Time)

Role Summary: The Pool & Beach Host/Hostess will function to assist all guests at Pool/Beach facilities with seating and requests, courteously and efficiently, and according to hotel standards. In addition, the Host/Hostess will maintain the cleanliness and organization of all supplies, equipment, and work areas while ensuring guest safety and enjoyment. We have a Part-Time position available. This role is a flexible position (AM / PM). All candidates must be able to work weekends, holidays, and nights.

Essential Qualifications: Ability to clearly and effectively communicate with guests, management and co-workers to ensure mutual understanding. Ability to provide legible communication. Ability to do basic arithmetic. Desirable Valid certification in first aid and C.P.R. (desired) Previous experience in similar position with a hotel. (desired) Ability to communicate in a second language, preferably. (desired) Essential Skills: Ability to understand guests' service needs. Ability to focus attention on details. Ability to prioritize, organize and follow through. Ability to follow directions. Ability to adapt to priority changes of workflow or requirements. Ability to perform job functions in outdoor environment with exposure to sun, high temperatures, wind and the ocean. Ability to exert physical effort in transporting/handling equipment and supplies. Ability to endure abundant physical movements throughout the work areas. Ability to remain standing for entire shift. Ability to reach, bend, and stoop. Ability to perform physical requirements, including lifting and transporting items of varying weights, with or without accommodation.
