About the role
QA Line Leader
Purpose of the position:
We are seeking a proactive and experienced QA Line Leader to supervise daily quality inspection activities within our FATP / SMT and electronic component manufacturing environment. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in quality inspection, leadership capabilities, and the ability to coordinate inspection teams to ensure product quality meets strict specifications and production deadlines.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Lead and Supervise Team: Direct daily QA team activities, assign tasks, monitor performance, and provide training on inspection standards and safety rules to ensure production goals are met.
- Oversee Quality Inspections: Manage first-article, in-process, and final inspections to ensure products meet specifications; identify defects, document issues, and work with engineers to resolve quality problems.
- Manage Data & Reporting: Track inspection results, analyze data to find quality trends, and prepare accurate reports for management to support quality improvement
- & Communicate: Collaborate with production and engineering teams on quality issues, escalate critical problems to leadership, and ensure clear communication and smooth shift handoffs.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
- Education and work experience:
- Associate degree or above in Mechanical Engineering, Manufacturing.
- Minimum 2–3 years of experience in quality inspection within FATP / SMT, electronics manufacturing industries.
Working conditions:
Manufacturing and office environment.
Frequent walking between production areas and office.
Require to ear appropriate PPE and follow all safety procedures.
Ability to work overtime or weekends as business needs require.
Skills:
Associate degree or higher in a technical field (or equivalent experience).2–3 years of quality inspection experience in manufacturing (electronics, SMT, etc.).Ability to read and understand basic mechanical drawings and in using standard measuring tools (calipers, micrometers, height gauges, etc.).Basic knowledge of quality inspection processes and procedures. Familiarity with Microsoft Excel for data entry and reporting. Ability to lead, train, and motivate a small team. Good verbal and written communication skills. Strong organizational and time management abilities. Detail-oriented, responsible, and a strong team player.
Language: English Required; Spanish and/or Mandarin is a plus.
