About the role
Industrial Wastewater Mechanic H 2 O Innovation provides public works management services & operations assistance for water & wastewater treatment plants to municipalities, government organizations, and businesses across North America. H 2 O is currently seeking an Industrial Wastewater Mechanic to join our team in Harrison County, MS. The Benefits Overall remuneration includes: Health Insurance, Dental, Vision & Telemedicine Health Savings Account Life Insurance 401K Retirement Plan with Employer Contributions Paid Vacation & Sick Days Paid Holidays Key Responsibilities Perform preventative maintenance and repairs on wastewater treatment equipment Troubleshoot pumps, motors, blowers, valves, piping, and other plant equipment Inspect equipment and identify mechanical issues before failures occur Assist with installation and modification of plant equipment and systems Respond to equipment breakdowns and operational issues Maintain accurate maintenance records and work orders Coordinate with plant operators to identify and resolve equipment issues Follow all safety procedures, including lockout/tagout requirements Maintain tools, equipment, and work areas in a safe condition The Skills We Are Looking For Experience in industrial wastewater, plant maintenance, or a related mechanical field Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills Knowledge of pumps, motors, valves, blowers, and wastewater equipment Ability to safely use hand and power tools Basic electrical and controls knowledge preferred Strong communication and problem-solving skills Commitment to safety and company standards The successful candidate will have to pass a background check which includes criminal background & motor vehicle report checks, as well as drug & alcohol screenings.
