Job Position: Aluminum Welder Location: Kenner, LA 70062 Pay Rate: $28.00/hr Shift: Description: Job Duties/Responsibilities Perform welding tasks using aluminum materials, including TIG and MIG welding techniques. Read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and welding specifications. Set up and operate welding equipment, ensuring proper adjustments for aluminum welding. Inspect finished welds to ensure they meet quality standards and specifications. Perform routine maintenance and cleaning of welding tools and equipment. Maintain a safe and organized work environment by adhering to safety protocols and guidelines. Collaborate with team members to meet production deadlines and project requirements. Identify and troubleshoot welding defects, making necessary corrections to ensure quality.
Qualifications & Requirements: Proficiency in TIG and MIG welding techniques for aluminum materials. Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings accurately. Familiarity with common welding tools, equipment, and safety procedures. Strong attention to detail and ability to produce high-quality welds. Good manual dexterity and hand-eye coordination for precise welding tasks. Ability to work independently or as part of a team in a manufacturing or fabrication setting. Basic understanding of metal properties and welding processes.
