CNC Programmer/Machinist – Mastercam | 1st Shift
Location: Longmont, CO
Pay: $35–$43/hr DOE
Shift: 1st Shift We are hiring an experienced CNC Programmer/Machinist for a rapidly growing precision machining operation in Longmont. This is a great opportunity for a strong Mastercam mill programmer who can take a job from print to finished part. We are open to candidates coming from 3-axis, 4-axis, or 5-axis programming backgrounds. The shop supports high-precision aerospace, space, and defense manufacturing and continues to invest heavily in new CNC equipment and technology.
What You'll Do: Program CNC mills using Mastercam Take jobs from print to finished part Read and interpret blueprints and GD&TPerform basic machine setups Complete tool changes and offsets Load tooling, inserts, and raw material Make adjustments to feeds and speeds Troubleshoot programs and machining issues Produce tight-tolerance precision components
What We're Looking For
Required: CNC mill programming experience Hands-on Mastercam experience Ability to program parts from print to partCNC setup experience Strong blueprint reading skills Working knowledge of GD&THighly Preferred:4-axis or 5-axis programming/setup experience Haas machines/controlsDMG Mori / DMU experience Siemens controls Matsuura machining centers Aerospace or defense machining Tight-tolerance machining Recent versions of Mastercam Pro Shop ERP experience Compensation 3-Axis: Up to $38/hr 5-Axis: Up to $43/hr Why This Opportunity?
