Job Description:
As a Wine Specialist, you will be integral to our retail team, providing expert guidance to customers on both domestic and imported wines. Your role centers on delivering exceptional product knowledge and personalized wine selection advice to enhance the customer experience, all within a dynamic retail environment without the need for travel or event hosting.
Responsibilities:
Consult with customers to understand their preferences and recommend suitable wines Guide customers through both domestic and imported wine selections Maintain up-to-date product knowledge to inform and educate customers effectively Collaborate with the retail team to ensure a seamless shopping experience
Required Qualifications: Minimum of 1 year experience in wine retail or hospitality
Preferred Qualifications:
High School Diploma or equivalent Strong knowledge of wines and wine varieties Excellent customer service and sales techniques Inventory management experience Skills in tasting and sensory evaluation Effective communication skills Detail-oriented with strong attention to product merchandising Experience with event coordination Ability to collaborate well within a team environment
