Electronics Sorter Opportunity Inova Staffing is seeking reliable, motivated individuals to join our clients team in electronic-device recycling and refurbishment. This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys hands-on work, has a basic understanding of IT hardware, and wants to grow in a stable, climate-controlled workplace. Position Details:
Pay: $18.00 per hour
Schedule: Monday Friday, 6:30 AM3:15 PM, with occasional overtime Pay frequency: Weekly
Work environment: Climate-controlled facility
Responsibilities: As an Electronics Sorter, you will help receive, identify, sort, and prepare electronic equipment for processing, refurbishment, recycling, or shipment. Sort and organize incoming electronic equipment by product type, shipment category, and designated processing area Identify common IT hardware and electronic components, including laptops, desktops, servers, network phones, docking stations, monitors, cables, wires, and other peripherals Inspect materials and separate products into appropriate boxes, pallets, bins, or shipping containers Lift, move, stage, and load electronic materials safely throughout the facility Accurately record basic product, inventory, and shipment information through data entry and internal tracking systems Assist with maintaining organized workstations and clearly labeled material areas Follow all safety, quality, security, and handling procedures when working with electronic equipment Work independently on assigned tasks while communicating effectively with supervisors and team members Support other warehouse and production duties as needed, including occasional work outside when required
Job Requirements: Reliable attendance and the ability to report to work consistently and on time General familiarity with IT hardware or electronics is preferred; candidates should be able to learn the difference between common devices such as desktops, laptops, servers, network phones, docking stations, and peripherals Previous warehouse, manufacturing, recycling, assembly, production, or electronics-handling experience is a plus, but not required Comfortable completing basic data-entry tasks and accurately documenting materials Ability to stand for the duration of the shift Ability to regularly lift and move up to 50 pounds Steel-toe boots required Ability to work in a fast-paced team environment Positive attitude, strong attention to detail, and willingness to learn Ability to pass a drug screen and background check Ability to work outside when needed
