About the role
Our client, a leading home textiles company, is seeking an Account Executive to join their team in NYC!
Responsibilities:
Maintain and grow new and existing account relationships Develop merchandise plans Implement business/product strategies to optimize sales and profit Work closely with design and product development to initiate new product development Coordinate sample needs Conduct competitive market research Schedule buyer meetings and prepare agendas for meetings Recap buyer meetings and follow up with buyers to provide feedback Ensure product meets sales, pricing and margin goals Provide sales estimates by project and projection worksheets Process orders for sell-off
Requirements:
Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience in sales or product/management 3-5+ years of buying line exposure and understanding of retail cycles Excellent communication skills Strong organizational and analytical skills Strong negotiation skills
Salary Range:
