About the role

We’re looking for a Senior Project Manager to lead complex technology work from planning through delivery. Depending on the initiative, you may own a major strategic project, coordinate several related workstreams as a program, or manage multiple projects at once. You’ll work closely with technical teams, business leaders, and external partners to keep priorities clear and delivery on track. Your schedules, forecasts, risks, and status updates will also inform broader portfolio decisions, so sound judgment and reliable reporting are essential.
What you’ll do: Lead IT projects and programs through planning, execution, implementation, and closeout. Define scope, outcomes, milestones, responsibilities, resources, and decision processes. Build and maintain practical plans that account for schedules, dependencies, deliverables, and staffing. Track progress against scope, budget, timing, and quality expectations. Spot delivery risks early, resolve issues with the right stakeholders, and hold teams accountable for decisions and commitments. Assess proposed changes before they are approved, including their effect on cost, timing, resources, dependencies, and expected results. Coordinate internal teams, contractors, and vendors. Monitor vendor deliverables, schedules, spending, and progress against commitments. Own project and program budgets, forecasts, expense tracking, and variance explanations. Support cost estimates, funding requests, and capital planning as needed. Produce clear status reports, dashboards, financial summaries, and leadership updates that make decisions and tradeoffs easy to understand. Lead working sessions, status reviews, and steering meetings. Capture lessons learned and recommend improvements to future delivery.
What you bring: 10+ years of progressive IT project management experience, including independent leadership of complex, cross-functional projects or programs from initiation through closeout. Experience in an IT PMO or enterprise technology portfolio environment. Strong command of project planning and controls, including scope, schedules, resources, risks, issues, dependencies, and change management. Hands-on responsibility for project finances, including budgets, forecasts, actual spending, variance analysis, and reporting. Experience managing technology vendors, contractors, or professional services partners. The ability to turn detailed technical and financial information into clear updates for business stakeholders and senior leaders. Strong facilitation, negotiation, problem-solving, and decision-making skills, with the confidence to question assumptions and move issues toward resolution. Advanced Excel and Power Point skills, plus experience with project or portfolio management tools such as Power BI, Jira, Azure Dev Ops, Monday.com, or Microsoft Project. Helpful experience: PMP, PgMP, Agile, Scrum, or a related certification; and project delivery experience in cybersecurity, infrastructure, cloud, enterprise applications, data and analytics, systems integration, or digital transformation.

Before you apply

Applying takes about a minute. These four things decide how fast it moves after that.

Your profile is current

It's what we read first. Occupations, seniority and locations matter more than a long history.

Two examples you can talk through

Not a portfolio — just two pieces of work where you can explain the decisions and what you'd change.

A number in mind

What you're on now and what would make you move. We negotiate better when we know both.

Your notice period

Employers plan around it, and it's the question that stalls offers most often.

Once you apply, someone reads it and calls you before anything reaches the employer — usually within two working days.
