About the role
Akron Public Schools is seeking an Interpreter – Non Certified for ESL programs, specifically Burmese/Karen. This part‑time position works up to 24 hours per week with an unpaid lunch, reporting to the building principal and serving as a language liaison for families and staff.
The interpreter provides oral interpretations and written translations to ensure parents understand their child’s education, attends after‑school or evening programs as needed, and travels between school sites as required.
