Role Description: This is a full-time, in-person Full Stack Software Engineer role in New York, NY. You'll ship to production on Day 1 within a high-touch, autonomous environment. You'll design, build, and maintain the web and IOS applications that power Speakeasy's platform, helping us aggressively expand our B2B offerings and further build out our agentic product suite. Day-to-day, that means developing front-end interfaces, implementing and optimizing back-end services and APIs, integrating data sources, and collaborating closely with product and design to deliver user-focused features. You'll write clean, testable code, review your teammates' work, troubleshoot production issues, and weigh in on architectural decisions that support scalability, reliability, and security.
Qualifications:
  • Strong full-stack development skills, with experience building modern web applications from concept to deployment
  • Strong native iOS development experience, including building and maintaining production applications using Swift, SwiftUI, and/or UIKitProficiency in front-end development, including JavaScript frameworks and CSS for responsive, accessible user interfaces
  • Experience in back-end web development, including designing APIs, managing data persistence, and optimizing application performance
  • Solid understanding of web and mobile application standards, security best practices, and version control (e.g., Git)
  • Experience with modern development workflows, testing frameworks, and CI/CD pipelines across web and mobile environments
  • Comfort with autonomy and ownership - you can drive projects independently while communicating clearly with technical and non-technical partners
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent practical experience; experience in SaaS, commerce, or data-driven platforms is a plus
