School Athletic Trainer

Location: New Bern, NCThe Athletic Trainer evaluates and guides individuals inrecovering from or preventing athletic-related injuries and illnesses, whilesupporting optimal physical performance, when applicable during school hoursand/or after-hours school related events, according to school district policyand procedures. Their primary focus ison preventing musculoskeletal injuries and promoting upstream care throughearly intervention strategies.

Minimum Requirements:

State Athletic Training licensure, certification and/orregistration (All states except CA)
Proficiency in therapeutic modalities and rehabilitationstechniques
Strong knowledge of anatomy, physiology, and kinesiology
Must have current CPR certification
Must be at least 18 years of age
