Lead an inpatient behavioral health program and help shape the future of mental health and substance use disorder services at a growing healthcare organization.
Must-Haves
BSN or New York State LMSW
Strong clinical and administrative leadership experience
Experience working with individuals with mental health conditions
Ability to manage clinical operations, staff, budgets, and resources
What You'll Do:
Direct and evaluate treatment services on the inpatient behavioral health unit
Lead clinical and administrative department operations
Develop and enforce departmental policies, procedures, and programs
Manage the department budget and identify cost savings and revenue opportunities
Ensure efficient staffing and provide clinical and administrative supervision
Monitor patient outcomes and lead quality improvement initiatives
Ensure accreditation and regulatory compliance
Partner on utilization review, compliance, operations, and patient safety
Collaborate with physicians, nursing, social work, and therapy teams
Support the broader behavioral health and substance use disorder service line
Build a culture of safety, accountability, and patient-centered care
Nice-to-Haves
5+ years of leadership in an acute mental health setting
Inpatient behavioral health program leadership
Master's degree such as MSN, MBA, MHA, or similar
Psychiatric or behavioral health certification
Proven quality improvement and regulatory compliance results
Compensation and Benefits:
$120,000 to $145,000 per year
