About the role
About the Program:
Softek is recruiting for a program supporting the Department of Homeland Security, Cybersecurity and Infrastructure Security Agency (DHS/CISA). The program delivers AI/ML-enabled applications, automation, and cloud data engineering on an AWS and Databricks platform, with an emphasis on secure, vendor-agnostic design. Work is performed remotely from the contractor site with occasional travel to the Washington, DC area.
Duties and Responsibilities:
Lead day-to-day delivery for the application development team, including sprint planning, backlog grooming, and release readiness reviews.
Track dependencies, risks, and deliverables in Jira and MS Project and keep the Program Manager informed of trends and blockers.
Coordinate with Government technical leads and cross-task teams to resolve issues and keep releases on schedule.
Prepare meeting minutes, briefings, and status inputs for the monthly program report.
Required Qualifications:
Five or more years of project management experience on software or cloud delivery programs.
Working knowledge of agile and Kanban methods and tools such as Jira and Confluence.
Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
Preferred Qualifications:
PMP or Certified Scrum Master.
Prior DHS or other federal civilian agency experience.
