About the role
The City of Newton seeks a dedicated Crossing Guard to assist students and pedestrians at designated school crossings. You will help manage crossing safety under the supervision of the Chief of Police and work a schedule aligned with Newton Public Elementary Schools.
Responsibilities include coordinating with traffic, teaching safe crossing practices, and reporting non-compliant behavior to school officials. Uniforms and weather gear are provided; footwear and pants are not.
