GenAI Technology Architect
Remote: NYC / East Coast Preferred$70–$75/hr W2 | Contract
Must be available to work East Coast hours Up to 50% travel may be required Red Oak Technologies is seeking an experienced GenAI Technology Architect to support a leading organization in the financial services and risk management industry. This is a remote opportunity, with a strong preference for candidates located in the New York City area or Eastern Time Zone due to the need to work East Coast business hours. This is a highly visible, client-facing position combining Generative AI expertise, solution architecture, technical pre-sales, proof-of-concept development, and financial services technology. The GenAI Technology Architect will work directly with customers to understand complex workflows, design AI-driven solutions, and help integrate emerging GenAI technologies into real-world enterprise environments.
Key Responsibilities: Serve as a technical expert for GenAI and emerging technologies throughout the pre-sales and sales process. Understand customer workflows and lead solution co-creation initiatives within client environments. Design and execute proof-of-concept (POC) projects to demonstrate solution fit, business value, and adoption potential. Partner with Relationship Management and Sales teams on complex opportunities, including RFIs and RFPs. Help clients integrate GenAI solutions into broader digital transformation strategies. Identify new market opportunities involving GenAI and emerging technologies. Develop case studies highlighting successful implementations and business impact. Create technical training, white papers, industry insights, and other thought leadership materials. Build relationships with clients, technology providers, consultants, regulators, and other industry stakeholders. Represent the organization through industry events, presentations, publications, and thought leadership activities.
Required Qualifications: 8+ years of experience supporting the sales and integration of highly technical products, including demos, POCs, and complex client solutions. Recent experience working with AI/Generative AI technologies. Strong understanding of GenAI technologies, enterprise use cases, and integration strategies. Proven experience supporting complex technology sales within financial services, KYC, compliance, risk, or related industries. Strong client-facing communication, presentation, and solution-consulting skills. Experience leading customer workshops and translating business requirements into technical solutions. Strong leadership and mentoring abilities. Ability to communicate complex technical concepts to both technical and business audiences. Ability to travel up to 50%.
Preferred Qualifications: Public speaking experience and/or published industry content. Experience developing technical training, white papers, case studies, or other thought leadership. Experience working with emerging technologies within highly regulated financial services environments.
Education: Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Business, Finance, Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field.
