Job Summary:
Sales Director, West Coast We are seeking a dynamic Sales Directorto lead the commercial strategy and sales organization for Glanbia Health & Nutrition's Flavor Producers business, a key flavor innovation and manufacturing platform within Glanbia's growing flavor solutions portfolio. Flavor Producers is a leader in natural, organic, and plant-based flavor solutions and serves as a critical innovation hub supporting customers across the food, beverage, and nutrition industries.
Key Duties and Responsibilities:
Develop and implement a Sales Strategy for FP to ensure continued growth with key accounts, new growth and profitable sales
Identify Key Accounts, Manage some Key Accounts, Targeted Accounts, Market Segment strengths, Preferred Supplier requirements
Understand customer needs, flavor and food trends, innovation or Technology demands
Collaborate with Sales Team to Implement account strategy and pricing policy
Collaborate with Marketing on trends, Company presentations, giveaways, and Sell Sheets
Develop Sales Forecasts, establish sales budget and control expenses
Understand FP Products/Innovation, educate Sales team and Customers
Lead and manage sales team members by developing, coaching and guiding sales initiatives to ensure territory results are achieved
Educate Team on Products, Customers, Territories, Trends
Evaluates teams relationships with customers and sales performance
Develop, analyze and report monthly on Metrics to monitor team and territory performance, segments, profitability factors
Monitor and report competitor activity related to products, innovation, pricing along with industry acquisitions, JV's and general business news
Attend Industry Trade shows, Sales Meetings, and a minimum of 30% Customer Travel
Experience and Education:
Bachelor's Degree in Sales, Marketing, Chemistry or Food Science along with 8+ years of sales management experience in the Flavor industry
High proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, Power Point, Outlook and Salesforce along with exceptional computer skills to navigate ERP and custom systems.
Proven track record of developing profitable sales along with strategic planning, P&L, and forecasting initiative.
Demonstrated experience managing and developing sales team members

Glanbia provides a reasonable range of compensation for roles; the salary range for this role is $170,000 - $190,000 plus car allowance and an annual bonus. This range may not be applicable to other locations and targeted salary is midpoint of range. Factors that could be used to determine your actual salary may include your specific skills, years of experience and comparison to current employees already in this role.
