About the Opportunity:
A leading global real estate organization is looking for an Anaplan - VP of Financial Planning & Analysis to join its FP&A team in Chicago. This is a high-impact role focused on enterprise financial consolidation, reporting, budgeting, forecasting, and long-range planning. You'll work across Finance, Accounting, HR, and other business functions while gaining significant exposure to senior leadership. Anaplan is a key part of the position, with responsibility for developing and improving complex planning models and converting manual Finance processes into more scalable solutions.
What You'll Do:
Manage enterprise-wide financial consolidation processes across monthly, quarterly, and annual cycles Lead the preparation, review, and analysis of consolidated financial reporting for senior leadership Coordinate budgeting, forecasting, and long-range planning activities Develop and enhance complex Anaplan models supporting FP&A processes Identify opportunities to automate and improve manual Finance processes through Anaplan Analyze financial performance, headcount trends, and workforce data Partner across FP&A, Accounting, HR, and wider business teams Maintain accuracy and integrity across financial and planning data Resolve reporting, planning, and data issues across multiple stakeholder groups Support continued improvement of enterprise FP&A processes and reporting
Desired Candidate Profile:
7+ years of progressive FP&A, financial consolidation, and reporting experience 2+ years of hands-on Anaplan experience Anaplan Model Builder certification required Experience developing complex Anaplan models Strong budgeting, forecasting, reporting, and financial planning knowledge Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field Advanced Excel and Power Point skills Experience with financial reporting and BI tools Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities Comfortable managing multiple priorities in a deadline-driven environment Strong communication and stakeholder management skills Experience working with sensitive financial, payroll, and compensation data
Preferred Experience:
