What You'll Do: Perform in-process, final, and receiving inspections on cable and wire harness assemblies. Verify workmanship, crimps, solder joints, labeling, routing, and overall assembly quality. Conduct First Article Inspections (FAI).Complete inspection reports and non-conformance documentation. Ensure compliance with IPC/WHMA-A-620 and customer specifications. Partner with Production, Engineering, and QA teams to maintain quality standards.
Requirements:
  • 2-3+ years of quality inspection experience in cable, wire harness, or electrical assembly manufacturing.
  • Current IPC/WHMA-A-620 Certified Specialist (CS) certification.
  • Ability to read electrical drawings, schematics, and assembly documentation.
  • Experience using calipers, micrometers, multimeters, continuity testers, and related inspection tools.
  • PreferredJ-STD-001 CertificationAS9100 or ISO 9001 experience
  • Aerospace, defense, or medical device manufacturing background
