If you're ready to grow, lead and make a difference, come join our team and help shape the future of convenience.This role is 100% in office based out of our Irving, Tx headquarters.Job SummaryAre you a strategic leader who thrives at the intersection of merchandising, innovation, and financial services?7-Eleven is seeking a Director, Merchandising - Financial Services to lead the strategy, growth, and evolution of a diverse portfolio that includes Gift Cards, Lottery, Gaming, Money Orders, Kiosk Services, and emerging Embedded Financial Services offerings. This leader will be responsible for developing and executing a long-term vision that modernizes existing businesses, accelerates digital capabilities, and positions 7-Eleven for the future of financial services.Reporting directly to the Vice President, Merchandising - Center of Store & Tobacco Services, this highly visible role will partner across Digital, IT, Legal, Compliance, Treasury, and Operations to shape how millions of customers engage with financial services across both physical and digital channels. The ideal candidate combines strategic thinking, business leadership, partnership management, and a passion for innovation.Key Duties And ResponsibilitiesDevelop and execute a multi-year strategy for 7-Eleven's Financial Services portfolio, identifying opportunities for growth, modernization, and digital transformation.Lead key strategic initiatives, including expanding the Gift Card business, enhancing the Lottery portfolio to include digital enablement, and scaling Embedded Financial Services capabilities.Partner with Digital and IT teams to digitize traditional services and create seamless customer experiences across channels.Manage and influence a broad network of internal and external partners to drive innovation, product development, and business performance.Leverage customer insights, market trends, and emerging technologies to identify new opportunities and future-proof the business.Collaborate with Legal, Compliance, Treasury, Accounting, Operations, and Merchandising teams to bring new capabilities and solutions to market.Lead, coach, and develop a team of Senior Category Managers while fostering a culture of accountability, collaboration, and continuous improvement.Support field operations by ensuring strategic initiatives are executable, scalable, and aligned with customer and business needPreferred QualificationsBachelor's degree preferred and/or relevant work experience.4+ years of management/people leadership experience.Experience in financial services, fintech, payments, retail services, merchandising, or related industries.Strong strategic, financial merchandise planning & analytical skills.Demonstrated success leading complex cross-functional initiatives and influencing senior stakeholders.Experience partnering across Digital, Technology, Operations, Legal, and Compliance functions.Demonstrated progressive experience in roles requiring influence and negotiation with internal and external stakeholdersExperience leveraging data and business intelligence tools to drive decision-makingAbility to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and manage multiple priorities effectively
