About the role

CHEQ is a live sports app on the App Store and Google Play. You track a player, and CHEQ alerts you the second he scores or hits the number you set. Live stats, parlay tracking and fantasy, all in real time. We're a small, fast team and we're growing. The job You own getting CHEQ new users and paying subscribers. Not managing agencies or asking for big ad budgets: you do the work yourself, every day. If it gets people to download CHEQ and subscribe, it's your job.
What you'll do:
  • Run CHEQ's TikTok, Instagram, X and YouTube Shorts daily: post, reply, and jump on live games and trending moments
  • Make short videos and graphics yourself (screen recordings, edits, memes, highlight-style clips)
  • Get into the communities where sports fans already are: Reddit, Discord, X, group chats, fantasy and betting forums
  • Run email and in-app campaigns to bring users back and turn free users into subscribers
  • Find and sign affiliate partners and creators who promote CHEQ on commission (code-based, no upfront fees)
  • Test small paid campaigns on Meta and TikTok when it makes sense, and track what works
  • Report weekly: what you tried, what worked, and the numbers (downloads, signups, paid subs)
  • You're a fit if you (none of these are required)
  • Live and breathe sports (NFL, NBA, MLB, NHL, college) and know sports Twitter/TikTok culture
  • Have grown an account, a page, a community or an app before, and can show the numbers
  • Can make content yourself in CapCut, Canva or similar, quickly
  • Are self-driven and work without being told what to do next
  • Are around for game days, including evenings and weekends, which is when sports fans are online
Bonus: experience with app marketing, affiliate programs or Meta/TikTok ads

Before you apply

Applying takes about a minute. These four things decide how fast it moves after that.

Your profile is current

It's what we read first. Occupations, seniority and locations matter more than a long history.

Two examples you can talk through

Not a portfolio — just two pieces of work where you can explain the decisions and what you'd change.

A number in mind

What you're on now and what would make you move. We negotiate better when we know both.

Your notice period

Employers plan around it, and it's the question that stalls offers most often.

Once you apply, someone reads it and calls you before anything reaches the employer — usually within two working days.
