Day in the LifeBased in Cranbury, NJ, 05812, you'll begin your day by reviewing the latest build specifications and blueprints. You'll stage parts and hardware, then assemble mechanical components into complete systems using the right hand and power tools for each step. Along the way, you'll run in-process checks to verify tolerances and performance meet our exacting standards. You'll keep your bench clean and organized, collaborate with teammates to fine-tune workflows, and immediately flag any discrepancy to your supervisor so we can correct it fast. You'll also carve out time for training sessions that sharpen your craft and expand your capabilities.
What You'll Do: Interpret blueprints and specifications to build mechanical components and assemblies accurately. Perform quality inspections throughout the build to confirm products meet company standards. Operate and maintain hand and power tools safely and effectively. Partner with team members to improve assembly throughput and consistency. Maintain a tidy, well-organized work area that supports safety and efficiency. Identify and report issues or nonconformances to the supervisor without delay. Engage in ongoing training and development to broaden technical skills. What You BringHigh school diploma or equivalent; technical training or certification is beneficial. Hands-on experience in mechanical assembly or a closely related trade. Solid grasp of mechanical systems and the ability to read blueprints. Comfort working independently and collaborating within a team. Sharp attention to detail and a practical approach to problem-solving.
