As we continue to expand, we’re looking for an experienced Head of Accountingto lead our finance team at our Lathrop, CA facility.
About the Role: The Head of Accountingwill oversee all accounting operations — including financial reporting, internal controls, and compliance — while driving process improvements and operational efficiency. This is a hands-on leadership role requiringstrong Net Suite ERP experienceand a solid background inmanufacturing or logistics.
Key Responsibilities: Lead and mentor a high-performing accounting team (AP, AR, payroll, GL).Manage month-end, quarter-end, and year-end closings. Prepare and review GAAP-compliant financial statements. Oversee audits and maintain internal financial controls. Partner with operations to improve cost accounting and inventory management. Ensure compliance with tax and regulatory requirements. Drive accounting process improvements using Net Suite ERP.Provide strategic insights and support executive decision-making.
What We’re Looking For: Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field ( CPA/CMA preferred ).8+ yearsof progressive accounting experience, including 3+ years in a leadership role. Hands-on Net Suite ERP experience required. Background inmanufacturing, logistics, or container industrypreferred. Strong technical accounting and GAAP knowledge. Excellent analytical, organisational, and leadership skills.
Salary: $140,000 – $175,000 annually (DOE)️Paid time off, sick pay and holidays
