About the role

SAIC is seeking a Mechanical Engineer to support the ALRE programs EMALS and AAG for naval aviation on Ford-class carriers. The role involves design, development, testing, troubleshooting and ongoing support of high-performance mechanical systems on ships and at test sites. Candidates must be local to Lakehurst, NJ, be a US citizen eligible for a DoD Secret clearance, and travel up to 20–30% (including international travel). Onsite work at naval facilities is required.
