Location: Rosemont, IL (Hybrid: 3 days in-office, 2 days remote)
Summary:
Join a leading regional food processing solutions provider as a Data & AI Architect, where you will play a pivotal role in building and governing enterprise data and AI capabilities.
Requirements:
- 5+ years of experience in data engineering, analytics, or data architecture
- Strong hands-on skills with SQL, ETL/ELT processes, and data pipelines
- Proven experience designing modern cloud-based data platforms and integrating multiple ERP systems
- Expertise in Microsoft Power BI, including semantic modeling and enterprise deployment
- Practical knowledge of Python, APIs, and AI solutions such as large language models and generative AIExcellent communication skills for engaging with technical teams and senior business leaders
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field preferred (or equivalent practical experience)
Responsibilities:
- Design and develop the enterprise data platform, integrating data from diverse sources
- Establish scalable data ingestion, transformation, and storage solutions
- Support AI initiatives, including discovery, prototyping, architecture, deployment, and maintenance of AI-enabled solutions
- Develop or guide generative AI, retrieval-augmented generation, and automation xhqgsiq solutions
- Collaborate with stakeholders across cybersecurity, legal, and business units to ensure responsible AI deployment
- Conduct workshops, develop training materials, and foster a community of AI champions within the organization
- Monitor AI solution performance, reliability, and compliance, implementing corrective actions as needed
