- Inspect damaged buses, motorcoaches, and commercial vehicles to determine repair requirements.
- Diagnose structural and collision-related damage using appropriate repair procedures.
- Perform component teardown and reassembly to support collision repairs.
- Repair or replace damaged structural components and assemblies.
- Restore vehicles to manufacturer and company quality standards. Welding & Fabrication
- Perform welding and fabrication required to complete structural repairs.
- Operate post pulling equipment, frame repair systems, and other collision repair equipment.
- Utilize laser alignment procedures and measuring systems to verify structural integrity.
- Ensure repairs meet quality and safety requirements before vehicles are returned to service. Safety & Compliance
- Follow all company safety policies and procedures.
- Maintain compliance with OSHA, EPA, DOT, and all applicable federal, state, and local regulations.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work area.
- Properly utilize shop tools, equipment, and personal protective equipment. Shop Operations
- Maintain personal tools necessary to perform assigned responsibilities.
- Document repairs and communicate repair status with leadership as needed.
- Support other technicians and shop personnel to meet production goals.
- Travel as required to support customer locations or special projects.
- Work overtime or weekends when business needs require.
