About the role
Student Life Assistant Are you passionate about getting involved, supporting your peers, and making campus life more exciting and inclusive? Join the Student Life team at West! As a Student Life Assistant, you'll help support student events, manage day-to-day office tasks, and assist with The Pantry when needed.
In this role, you will:
- Help plan and run Student Life initiatives, such as campus events and activities
- Support The Pantry by organizing donations, restocking shelves, and welcoming guests
- Assist with outreach by creating flyers, writing announcements, and spreading the word
- Pitch in on daily office tasks like data entry, filing, and scheduling
- Build your teamwork and problem-solving skills by working collaboratively with other student employees and staff
Consistently maintain 6 credit hours each semester; Maintain satisfactory academic progress; Adhere to College's confidentiality policy; Successfully pass background/drug screening; Answer phone and take messages; Clerical duties such as filing, data entry, copying and faxing; Open and sort mail; Strong interpersonal communication skills; Willingness to learn new technology; Assist with special projects; Other duties as assigned.
