About the role
Providing comprehensive academic support, the full-time remote Academic Advisor will advise undergraduate and graduate students on program requirements, track student progress, and implement retention strategies to ensure successful program completion.
Key responsibilities
Advise students on individual learning outcomes and maintain accurate student records
Monitor student progress and conduct proactive outreach to address academic and career goals
Collaborate with university departments to enhance the educational experience and support retention initiatives
Required qualifications
Bachelor's Degree
1-3 years of experience in student advising or a related educational setting
Experience interpreting and applying academic policies for degree requirements
Knowledge of individual learning needs based on students' skills and goals
Intermediate proficiency in Microsoft Office applications and video conferencing technology
