We are all employee-owners at HDR, which is the foundation of our collaborative culture that connects employees around the world.In the role of Bridge Project Manager, we'll count on you to: Plan and manage all aspects of small to medium single-discipline engineering projects or large, routine projectsFoster and develop client relationships for yourself and your staffIndependently coordinate work of engineers and balance planning team throughout entire project's developmentEstablish client relations and be involved with marketing, contractual, design and production meetingsTrack financial aspects of projects and coordinate or adjust work effort with team to ensure that work is completed within parameters of agreed-to scheduleCollaborate with peers and team members to create a cohesive practicePerform complex structural planning, analysis and design for all structural aspects of transportation projects to ensure completion of documents on scheduleWork on projects that typically include bridge (steel plate girder, prestress concrete, segmental and cable-stayed), box culvert, and interchange design for highway and railway projectsSelect standard bridge engineering/design procedures, develop structural details using specialized structural design and analysis software, and perform structural load calculations and assist with geometric layout and quantity developmentReview, assign work and/or check design calculations, estimates, and specifications produced by junior engineers and EITsMentor younger staff and support continued developmentPerform other duties as needed #LI-JF1Keywords: Bridge Project Manager, Caltrans bridge, California High Speed Rail, MicroStation, AutoCAD, MathCAD, LARSA Preferred Qualifications Master's degree in EngineeringCaltrans bridge design experience California High Speed Rail ExperienceExperience using Microsoft Office Suite, MicroStation, AutoCAD, MathCAD, LARSA Experience mentoring junior staffProficiency with seismic design and detailing of bridgesExcellent communication skills and ability to work in a team environment10 years of Caltrans Bridge Design ExperienceDemonstrated leadership skills, communication skills, and ability to work with various teamsPrestress Concrete DesignCIP Concrete designStrong organizational, listening, and mentoring skillsAbility to handle multiple assignmentsExperience using structural analysis programs and bridge design softwarePMP certification QualificationsRequired Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Engineering 7 years related experience A minimum 2 years project management experience Requires professional engineering license recognized by the licensing board for the location of the position offered.
