About the role
To support high net worth clients, the full-time California Licensed Tax Manager will provide estate planning and tax consulting services, manage client relationships, and conduct technical research, with the flexibility to work remotely or in a hybrid environment.
Key responsibilities:
Advise on estate planning processes and create tax-efficient plans based on cash flow projections and business succession
Interpret legal documents related to estate and business succession planning while providing tax planning services
Manage client relationships and assist in business development and marketing effortsRequired qualificationsBachelor's degree in Accounting and an active CPA license, Enrolled Agent license, or JD/LLM (taxation)
4-8 years of experience in tax planning and estate planning within public accounting or law firms
Proven ability to lead large estate/gift/GST tax planning engagements
Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, for client interactions and presentations
Experience in business development and networking
