About the role

Simulation Expert - Semiconductor Processes and Materials - Espoo Join one of the major global players in the MEMS business! To strengthen our development center in Espoo, Finland, we are looking for simulation experts with a passion for semiconductor processes and innovation. As a Simulation Expert, you will work on the modelling and simulation of semiconductor manufacturing processes, with a focus on plasma patterning and deposition. You will apply atomistic and continuum approaches, combining them to understand and optimize process behavior. The role offers the opportunity to shape simulation-driven development in an evolving environment, requiring initiative, ownership, and independent topic development, as well as active cross-functional networking. Process Simulation & Modelling: Multi-scale simulation of plasma and deposition processes. Methods: Combine atomistic, continuum, analytical, and machine learning approaches. From Research to Industrialization: Understand plasma–surface interactions and thin-film growth and translate insights into process improvements. Support transfer to high-volume manufacturing to enhance yield and reduce costs. Validation: Align simulations with experimental data from semiconductor wafers. Collaboration: Build a strong internal network and work across corporate research, development, and production. Knowledge Transfer: Collaborate with research partners and vendors. Before you apply

Applying takes about a minute. These four things decide how fast it moves after that.

Your profile is current

It's what we read first. Occupations, seniority and locations matter more than a long history.

Two examples you can talk through

Not a portfolio — just two pieces of work where you can explain the decisions and what you'd change.

A number in mind

What you're on now and what would make you move. We negotiate better when we know both.

Your notice period

Employers plan around it, and it's the question that stalls offers most often.

Once you apply, someone reads it and calls you before anything reaches the employer — usually within two working days.
