About the role
Account Manager Wholesale-We're hiring an Account Manager to own and grow wholesale accounts across department stores and specialty retail. In this role, you will manage existing relationships, open new doors, and represent the brand at trade shows and buyer meetings. This is a high-impact, relationship-driven role for someone who already speaks the language of wholesale apparel — buyers, markdowns, sell-through, EDI, line sheets — and who's excited to bring that expertise to a fast-growing, category-defining brandLocation: 4 days in office in NYC Pay: $85K-$115KWhat You'll DoManage a portfolio of existing wholesale accounts, serving as the primary point of contact for buyers and retail partnersIdentify, pitch, and open new accounts across department stores and specialty retailOwn the account management process end-to-end: line sheets, order entry, reorders, markdowns, and account reportingBuild and maintain seasonal assortments and sell-in strategies tailored to each accountRepresent the brand at trade shows, market weeks, and buyer appointmentsTrack account performance (sell-through, reorder rates, doors) and use data to spot growth opportunities and flag at-risk accountsPartner cross-functionally with brand, marketing, and operations to ensure accounts are set up for success (assets, launch timing, in-store support) Stay close to industry trends, competitor activity, and buyer feedback to keep the brand ahead in the categoryManage accounts through Faire and NuORDER, keeping catalogs, pricing, and order flow currentWhat You Bring 5+ years of wholesale sales or account management experience in apparel, intimates, or a related consumer categoryAbility to own accounts independently, from day-to-day servicing through strategic account planningExisting relationships with and experience selling into department stores and specialty retailHands-on experience with Faire and NuORDER (or equivalent wholesale marketplace/order platforms)A track record of both growing existing accounts and opening new onesComfort with trade show travel and in-person buyer relationshipsStrong organizational and follow-through skills — this role balances relationship-building with day-to-day account operationsBased in NJ or NY strongly preferred; open to remote for a candidate with the right industry network and experienceBonus: existing relationships with buyers in the intimate apparel, loungewear, or adjacent categories
