Warehouse/Delivery Team Position Furniture Enterprises of Alaska is seeking motivated individuals to join our Warehouse/Delivery Team. This is a hands-on, physically demanding position responsible for receiving, storing, and picking merchandise, and preparing items for delivery. This role is ideal for candidates who enjoy active work and being on their feet throughout the day. Team members regularly lift, move, assemble, and position large furniture pieces, including sofas, mattresses, dining sets, recliners, and bedroom furniture. We also complete background checks prior to employment. Details: $21.00 Per Hour to Start Full Time, Monday-Friday (9:00 AM 5:00 PM) PTO (136 Hours) Holiday Pay (Including your birthday!) Key Responsibilities: Load, unload, transport, and position large furniture items throughout the warehouse and showroom. Complete paperwork and inventory documentation for merchandise. Perform minor furniture repairs, adjustments, and touch-ups as needed. Maintain a clean, safe, and organized warehouse and showroom environment. Travel between store locations as needed to support showroom setup projects. Other duties as assigned.
Physical Requirements: Frequently lift and carry furniture weighing 70+ pounds. Safely move large furniture items individually and as part of a team. Stand, walk, bend, kneel, climb, reach, push, and pull throughout the workday. Perform physically demanding work for extended periods in a fast-paced environment. Safely operate moving equipment and tools as required.
Qualifications: 21+ years of age. Valid driver's license with a clean driving record. Ability to pass a background check and pre-employment drug & alcohol screening. Strong attention to detail and commitment to maintaining warehouse and showroom standards. Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
