About the role
Production Team MemberAt ECS Composites, we manufacture rugged products used in military, aerospace, commercial, and industrial applications around the world. As part of our Production team, you'll help build and assemble high-quality products designed to perform in demanding environments. Like working with your hands and seeing what you accomplished at the end of the day? This could be the job for you. Our Day Shift Production team works Monday–Thursday, giving you three-day weekends, plus occasional Friday overtime during our busy season for those looking to earn even more. If you're dependable, ready to learn, and take pride in producing quality work, we'd love to meet you!
What You'll Be Doing:
- Build and assemble products according to work instructions, drawings, and specifications
- Use hand tools, power tools, and production equipment safely and correctly
- Measure, position, fit, and assemble components
- Read work orders and follow production instructions
- Verify materials and components before beginning work
- Inspect your work throughout the assembly process to ensure quality
- Identify and report damaged, incorrect, or defective materials and components
- Make adjustments as needed to ensure proper fit and assembly
- Keep materials, tools, and completed products organized throughout the production process
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area
- Work with your team to meet daily production goals
- Follow established manufacturing processes and procedures
- Follow all safety procedures and quality standards
- Help identify opportunities to improve quality and efficiency
- Assist in other production areas when needed
- We're Looking for Someone Who Is:

- Mechanically inclined and comfortable using basic hand and power tools
- Detail-oriented and able to follow instructions
- Able to work accurately while maintaining a steady production pace

- Comfortable working in a manufacturing environment
- Safety-conscious and willing to follow established procedures
- Committed to producing clean, accurate, quality work
Previous manufacturing, production, assembly, construction, fabrication, or other hands-on experience is helpful, but not required. We're willing to train the right person who is dependable, willing to learn, and ready to work.
Physical Requirements:
- Standing and walking throughout the shift
- Lifting and moving materials, parts, and finished products up to 50 lbs.
- Frequent bending, reaching, twisting, kneeling, and crouching
- Gripping, handling, positioning, and assembling parts and materials
- Using hand tools, power tools, and production equipment throughout the workday
- Performing repetitive tasks while maintaining accuracy and attention to detail
- Working in a manufacturing environment around production equipment, tools, materials, noise, dust, and other conditions commonly associated with production work
- Wearing required personal protective equipment while working in production areas
