About the role
Legal.io is working with a leading technology company who is seeking a Privacy Analyst for a 5 month contract (potential to extend) You'll work closely with the company's privacy counsel and broader privacy team. This position is fully remote, based in the United States, but you'll be collaborating with a team based in the EU - so EST working hours is strongly preferred. Scope of Work Title: Privacy Analyst

Duration: 5 month commitment, may extend to 12 months
Hourly Rate: $50 - $70 / hour ($100,000 - $140,000 annualized)
Job Responsibilities:
Manage the Data Subject Requests queue Carryout vendor passthrough notifications Review Privacy inboxes and triage as necessary Coordinate privacy notice updates across all business units Think holistically about operations workflows and identifying areas for improvement. Back up the work of other privacy team members on other privacy related projects, as needed
Nice to have:
Experience solving privacy problems within an operations environment Knowledge of, or experience with, Zendesk and Jira Experience and comfort with working in a remote environment Required skills and experience:3+ years of relevant experience working as a privacy and/or compliance professional. Experience in dealing with Data Subject Requests Excellent project management and communication skills Demonstrated practical, real world, collaborative approach to problem-solving with the ability to make sound decisions and exercise good judgment Demonstrated ability to coordinate cross-functional teams toward tasks completion Experience in privacy and data protection lawsCIPP certification(s) recommended Undergraduate degree---------Legal.io is committed to the principle of equal opportunity.
