About the role
Casual Anesthesia TechCabell Huntington Hospital is seeking a casual Anesthesia Tech to work with our Anesthesia Department. The primary purpose of this position is to provide anesthesia agents, equipment and supplies for all surgical cases. Prospects must have knowledge of medical supplies, the ability to troubleshoot equipment problems and be able to transport supplies and equipment between various locations. The individual must possess skills and competencies necessary to provide care to patients ranging in age from neonate to School diploma or equivalent requiredCPR certification requiredJunior College/Technical School preferredPosition-related experience includes: Basic knowledge of hospital-medical terminologyComplete O.R. orientationThree months of on the job experience is necessary to become proficient with the duties of this positionMust be able to comprehend quickly and follow directions and established proceduresExperience in effectively dealing with the public
