About the role
- Demonstrable knowledge of Asphalt and Aggregate testing and design procedures.
- Proficient in blending aggregates and asphalt to specifications to conform to VDOT requirements.
- Demonstrated ability to work with senior management to accelerate the improvement and differentiation of existing products.
- Proven ability to supervise, train, and develop Quality Control Technicians.
- Bachelor's degree in Construction Technology or related field of study preferred.
- An Associate's degree and/or 3-5 years of direct industry experience will be considered.3-5 years of experience dealing with aggregates and asphalt required.3+ years of experience managing Quality Control labs and overseeing multiple facilities is preferred.
- Certifications in Soils & Aggregate Testing preferred.
