About the role
Amazing potential temp-to-direct hire role available, in White Plains, NY!Our client, a well-known non-profit legal organization, is seeking an Program Coordinator to support the Chief Program Officer. This role will require working fully onsite in White Plains, Monday through Friday, from 9am - 5pm. The office is conveniently located and accessible via MTA, and Westchester Bee Line Bus Service. This position will liaise with internal and external stakeholders, the CPO's office, internal staff, partners and other community organizations. You would also be responsible for ensuring smooth flow of day-to-day operations, manage workflows, and track data, documentation and reports. Responsibilities will include but not be limited to: Provide high level of support to top tier individual, manage calendars, arrange meetings, training workshops and other event coordination Draft, edit and proofread reports, meeting materials, presentations and other correspondence Organize documentation via digital and physical filing Track reporting deadlines and compile data for funders
Qualifications:
1-2 years+ experience in administrative or program support within a non-profit or legal/social justice environment Proficiency in MS Office suite (Word, Excel and Power Point), and other database systems; familiarity with grant tracking software would be a huge plus Strong verbal/written communications, ability to connect with people and retain professionalism, empathy and kindness Ability to handle confidential communications and other matters with discretion If you have what it takes to be successful in this role and are interested in being considered for this opportunity, please send your resume for consideration as soon as possible!
