FOOD SERVICE DIRECTORJoin our growing skilled nursing team as aFood Service Director ! We are seeking an experienced, organized leader to oversee daily dietary operations while ensuring residents receive high-quality meals and exceptional service.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
Oversee daily food service and dietary department operationsSupervise, schedule, train, and support dietary staffEnsure meals meet resident needs, preferences, therapeutic diets, and prescribed consistenciesMaintain compliance withCMS, state, sanitation, and food safety requirementsManage food ordering, inventory, supplies, and department costsMonitor kitchen cleanliness, food storage, temperatures, and sanitation practicesCollaborate with Nursing, Administration, and the interdisciplinary teamAssist with survey readiness and corrective action as neededQUALIFICATIONSMinimum 1 year of food service leadership experience in a skilled nursing or long-term care setting requiredCertified Dietary Manager (CDM) certification preferredServSafe certification preferredKnowledge of therapeutic diets, sanitation, and healthcare food service regulationsStrong leadership, organization, and communication skillsAbility to manage staffing, schedules, inventory, and department prioritiesJOIN OUR TEAMWe offer a supportive work environment, competitive compensation, benefits, and the opportunity to make a meaningful difference in the lives of our residents.
