About the role

Our client is a rapidly growing consumer brand who is looking to add a talented Payroll & Benefits Specialist to their growing team.
RESPONSIBILITIES: Run accurate, on-time, compliant payroll across multiple regions, following local labor, tax, and statutory rules for weekly, bi-weekly, and monthly pay cycles. Handle the daily administration of employee benefits and retirement programs, working with providers on enrollments, renewals, and regulatory requirements. Lead payroll close activities: reconcile payroll accounts, review journals, explain variances, and deliver clean payroll data to the general ledger for month-end. Pull and analyze data from payroll, HR, and accounting systems to answer audit requests, employee questions, and management inquiries. Calculate and document payroll estimates and judgment areas, such as bonuses, commissions, taxable fringe benefits, final pay, and statutory accruals. Support everyday payroll operations by checking input data, resolving questions from employees and vendors, and making sure payments to staff, government agencies, and benefits providers go out by their deadlines and per company policy. Write and maintain payroll procedures, policies, and internal controls that are consistent across regions and ready for audit. Coordinate with internal stakeholders and outside payroll providers to prepare and submit required filings and remittances, including tax withholdings, payroll taxes, social insurance, pension contributions, and other mandatory payments. Act as the main contact for payroll-related audits and reviews, including financial statement audits, retirement plan audits, insurance premium audits, and government tax agency inquiries. Identify and carry out process and system improvements, such as automation, stronger controls, and better vendor oversight, to support growth and lower risk. Partner with the People team to keep employee and payroll master data accurate and aligned across all systems. Before you apply

Applying takes about a minute. These four things decide how fast it moves after that.

Your profile is current

It's what we read first. Occupations, seniority and locations matter more than a long history.

Two examples you can talk through

Not a portfolio — just two pieces of work where you can explain the decisions and what you'd change.

A number in mind

What you're on now and what would make you move. We negotiate better when we know both.

Your notice period

Employers plan around it, and it's the question that stalls offers most often.

Once you apply, someone reads it and calls you before anything reaches the employer — usually within two working days.
