Role Description:
This full-time, on-site Property Manager role is based in East Brunswick and Bayonne, NJ. The Property Manager will oversee the daily operations of all residential properties, including tenant relations, lease administration, and rent collection. Responsibilities include coordinating maintenance and repairs, ensuring properties are clean, safe, and compliant with local regulations, and managing vendor relationships and service contracts. The role involves monitoring budgets, tracking expenses, supporting capital improvement projects, and preparing regular reports on occupancy, financial performance, and building conditions. The Property Manager will collaborate with ownership and internal teams to enhance resident satisfaction, support asset value, and uphold AMS standards of service and professionalism.
Qualifications:
Property operations and administration skills, including lease management, rent collection, and maintenance coordination. Financial and analytical capabilities, such as budget tracking, expense monitoring, and basic reporting on property performance. Strong communication and interpersonal skills for tenant relations, conflict resolution, and collaboration with vendors and internal teams. Organizational and time-management skills to prioritize tasks, manage multiple properties or projects, and meet deadlines. Working knowledge of building systems, safety standards, and local housing or commercial regulations. Proficiency with property management software and general office tools (e.g., MS Office, email, spreadsheets).Prior experience in property management, real estate operations, or facilities management is strongly preferred. Relevant education such as an associate or bachelor’s degree in business, real estate, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.rent manaher software experience is a plus
