They are seeking an Assistant Project Manager to join their team. Responsibilities: Support the Project Manager with the day-to-day management of commercial construction projects from preconstruction through completion. Assist with subcontractor coordination, procurement, RFIs, submittals, change orders, and project documentation. Review plans, specifications, and contract documents to identify potential issues and ensure project requirements are being met. Track project schedules, budgets, and milestones while helping maintain accountability across the project team. Coordinate with architects, engineers, consultants, subcontractors, vendors, and the field team to resolve issues and keep projects moving efficiently. Participate in project meetings, prepare meeting documentation, and follow up on outstanding action items. Assist with quality control, inspections, closeout activities, and maintaining organized project records.
Qualifications: 2+ years of commercial construction experience, preferably with a general contractor. Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Architecture, or a related field preferred. Strong understanding of commercial construction processes, project sequencing, and subcontractor coordination. Ability to read and interpret architectural, structural, and MEP drawings. Familiarity with RFIs, submittals, change orders, pay applications, schedules, and project documentation. Strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills. Proficiency with construction technology, scheduling, and project management software. Ability to work collaboratively with both field and office teams in a fast-paced environment.
