Job Opportunity At Heidelberg Materials Heidelberg Materials is one of the world's largest suppliers of building materials. Heidelberg Materials North America operates over 450 locations across the U.S. and Canada with approximately 9,000 employees.
Job Responsibilities:
Unload railcar loads of cement, load bulk truck with cement.
Performs preventive maintenance, lubrication and repairs on equipment.
Troubleshoot, diagnose, and repair equipment problems to minimize downtime and ensure proper operation.
Performs housekeeping of the facility.
Follows all safety policies, including proper use of Personal Protective Equipment.
Qualifications:
- Ability to operate heavy machinery and equipment including front end loaders and locomotive or railcar moving equipment.
- Basic Mechanical Troubleshooting skills
- Commitment to safety and compliance standards.
- Flexibility to work various shifts and overtime as needed
- Making process adjustments for quality control.
Work Environment:
Fast-paced and dynamic distribution terminal setting.
Exposure to outdoor weather conditions and heavy machinery.
Requires physical activity, including lifting and moving materials.
