Schedule: Monday–Friday, 10-Hour Day Shifts Outpatient Pediatric Renal Clinic We are seeking an experienced Registered Nurse (RN)with a background inPediatric Nephrology (Renal)for an outpatient clinic assignment in Norfolk, VA. This role focuses on supporting pediatric renal patients in a clinical setting through patient intake, assessments, and care coordination. The RN will not be performing dialysis or renal treatments.
Requirements: ? Active RN license ? Minimum 1 year of recent Pediatric Nephrology (Renal) experience ? Outpatient and/or clinic experience preferred ? Strong pediatric assessment and patient education skills ? BLS Certification (AHA preferred)
Responsibilities: Perform patient intake for pediatric nephrology patients Obtain and document vital signs, health histories, and assessments Coordinate care and communicate with providers and families Educate patients and caregivers regarding treatment plans and follow-up care Maintain accurate electronic medical records Support daily clinic operations and patient flow Assignment Details 13-week contract Monday–Friday schedule 10-hour day shifts No weekends Outpatient clinic environment Pediatric nephrology-focused role No renal treatments or dialysis responsibilities
