Additional information about the company, products, and services is available at https://www.wiggertusa.com.Role Description The Phone Service Support Technician is a full-time in person role responsible for providing technical assistance to customers and internal teams by phone, email, and other communication channels. Day-to-day activities include diagnosing and troubleshooting equipment and software issues related to concrete mixing and batching systems, walking users through solutions, and escalating complex problems. The technician will document support cases, maintain accurate service records, and contribute to knowledge base articles and user guides. This role also involves coordinating with field service personnel, verifying system configurations, assisting with software updates, and ensuring a professional, customer-focused support experience.
Qualifications:
- Candidates should possess a bachelor's degree in mechanical or electrical engineering
- Candidates should possess excellent Communication skills, including clear phone-based support, active listening, and the ability to explain technical concepts in straightforward terms.
- Candidates should possess strong Technical Support and Troubleshooting skills, with experience resolving hardware and software issues in an industrial or technical environment.
- Candidates should possess strong organizational and documentation abilities, including accurate case logging, and follow-upRelevant qualifications include prior experience in technical customer support or help desk roles, preferably in manufacturing or industrial automation.
- Additional beneficial qualifications include knowledge of concrete production equipment, PLC or control systems, and comfort working with manuals, schematics, and technical diagrams.
