Soliant is hiring anOncology Pharmacy Specialistfor a health system inSanta Barbara, CA Great opportunity to gain extensive experience in comprehensive medication therapy management of hematology/oncology patients. The position offers the opportunity to work in a multidisciplinary team through collaboration with physicians, APPs, nurses, clinical pharmacists, and the oncology operational pharmacy team to provide comprehensive care to a diverse patient population. This individual will report to the Pharmacy Clinical Manager and work closely with the Hematology/Oncology Clinical and Central Specialists as well as the Specialty Pharmacists within the health network. Responsibilities: The clinical pharmacist specialist is responsible for the provision of safe, effective, and prompt medication therapy. Provide patient-centered care and integrated pharmacy services in a decentralized practice setting with physicians, nurses, and other hospital personnel. In this clinical role, the specialist participates in all necessary aspects of the medication-use system while providing comprehensive pharmaceutical care to the patients in the assigned areas. As well as provide support of centralized and decentralized medication-use systems.
Ideal Candidate: Valid California Pharmacist License and completion of PGY2 or fellowship in oncology, completion of PGY1 plus 3 years of experience as a clinical specialist in oncology, or 5 years of experience as a clinical specialist in oncology. Board certification in oncology and Doctor of Pharmacy degree preferred. Applicant must demonstrate competency or experience in oncology. CompRange is $175,000 - 260,000/year. Relocation and Sign on bonus available
