About the role
Field Reimbursement DirectorViiV is seeking an experienced, strategic and execution-focused leader for a Field Reimbursement Director role in the Central Region of the country.This first line leader will support our LAI brands by leading a team of Field Reimbursement Associate Directors aligned to the Central region. The role is accountable for advancing prioritized account strategies, accelerating customer implementation readiness, and driving measurable post-prescribing outcomes through strategic deployment of team resources and cross-functional collaboration. The ability to act as an agent of change and see the bigger picture of ViiV's portfolio-wide strategy will be essential to delivering success in this role. Additionally, the ability to navigate within a complex external environment and to demonstrate strong leadership to effect optimal business implementation solutions will be critical. It is expected that the successful candidate will have demonstrated experience in developing strategic business plans with specific, measurable, action-oriented objectives in accordance with appropriate national and regional post prescribing goals.Successful outcomes will include recruiting, hiring and leading a high impact team of Field Reimbursement Associate Directors who execute transformational implementation initiatives with our prioritized campus customers and are aligned to ViiV's mission of leaving no person with HIV behind. This will be achieved through driving a culture of employee engagement and accountability against post prescribing business objectives and enabling the team to work within an integrated account management framework to support implementation and delivery of long acting injectable therapies across evolving acquisition, reimbursement, and site of care models.Success in this role requires advancing prioritized account strategies, removing implementation barriers, deploying resources against the highest impact opportunities, and delivering measurable customer and business outcomes. These responsibilities include some of the following:Managing the Business and Driving Post Prescribing PerformanceLead execution of prioritized account strategies through coaching, inspection, and development of a team of Associate Directors, ensuring focused action against implementation barriers and measurable customer outcomes.Partner with key customer stakeholders to accelerate implementation readiness, optimize operational processes, and support sustainable adoption of long-acting injectable therapies.Prioritize and customize regional investments/resources (People and Implementation Solutions) in a manner which optimizes post prescribing growth of the local market based upon identified opportunities as a result of evolving business environment.Deliver and adapt execution plans to achieve post prescribing performance goals and objectives utilizing; KPIs, scaling of successes, implementation problem solving, etc.Establish and lead cohesive and comprehensive Patient Access and Affordability Strategy based on key coverage, coding, payment, product acquisition and affordability dynamics for ViiV Healthcare products in assigned geography and provide leadership support for case escalations to deliver an exceptional implementation experienceUnderstand and Integrate Regional healthcare ecosystem trends into business plans (payer – public and private, local economics, health-system & providers – including value and quality, and competition) to maximize success.Develop executive customer relationships that advance implementation readiness and strategic account objectives.Managing a Post Prescribing Performance and Engagement CultureRecruit, hire and develop a high performing team of ADFRs. Build team capability for current and future needs, including attracting, identifying and developing a diverse talent pool.Create a coaching culture centered on accountability, execution excellence, and talent development. Coach leaders to identify customer barriers, prioritize opportunities, execute strategic moves, inspect progress, measure outcomes, and create accountability for sustained performance improvement.Set the tone and culture of the team, role model ViiV Expectations, and lead successfully through organizational change while maintaining engagement, accountability, and business performance.Implement corrective action as appropriate to meet business needs and improve performance.Compliance Accountabilities and Values Based CultureIdentify and manage risks, while allocating resources and executing on priorities.Understand Regional (State level) regulatory environment and required changes for execution to stay compliant.Escalate issues and risks and inform centrally when needed; create a 'speak up' culture.Implement Compliance and ViiV Risk Framework as applicable at regional level.Communicate SOPs and ensure ViiV policies are followed, e.g. recognition, reward, discipline, people policies, mandatory training.Aligning to and exemplifying ViiV's core values with every interaction, both internal and external.Why You?Basic QualificationsWe are looking for professionals with these required skills to achieve our goals:Bachelor's Degree & 5 plus years as a Customer Facing First Line Leader and Coach across 2 plus Business UnitsProven ability to drive results through cross-functional influence and matrix leadership.Strong coaching and talent development capabilities with a track record of building high-performing teams.Experience developing and executing strategic account plans that deliver measurable customer and business outcomes.2 plus years transformational leadership experienceExperience working with internal and external customers that requires knowledge of rules and regulations that govern provision of reimbursement support servicesAbility to travel up to 70%Valid Driver's LicensePreferred QualificationsIf you have the following characteristics, it would be a plus:Proven success leading through organizational transformation and change.5 years' experience developing and/or providing coverage, coding and payment information to provider customers for specialty injectable/infusible medicines.Expertise in payer policy, coverage, coding, billing, and payment requirements for specialty injectable/infusible medicines, including the ability to train and communicate these concepts effectively across stakeholders.Knowledge of reimbursement support service regulations, compliance requirements, and risk mitigation practices.
