About the role

- Set up and stocking stations with all necessary supplies
- Prepare food for service (e.g. chopping vegetables, butchering meat, or preparing sauces)
- Medium level knife skills
- Produce preparation & storage knowledge
- Cook menu items in cooperation with the rest of the kitchen staff
- Follow Bonton Farms recipe instructions
- Stock inventory appropriately
- Ensure that food comes out simultaneously, in high quality and in a timely fashion
- Comply with nutrition and sanitation regulations and safety standards
- Maintain a positive and professional approach with coworkers and customers
- Great time management skills
- Ability to lift at least 15lbs
- Capable of standing and bending continuously for periods exceeding 5 hours
- Excellent understanding of various cooking methods, ingredients, equipment and procedures
- Accuracy and speed in executing assigned tasks
- Familiar with industry's best practices
- Demonstrates a solution-oriented mindset and adapts quickly to sudden operational changes and unplanned decisions
- Must have a passion for the mission of Bonton Farms.
