About the role

Document Production Specialist We are seeking an experienced Document Production Specialist to support a high-volume, fast-paced environment. This position is responsible for creating, editing, formatting, and finalizing complex documents while providing responsive support to internal teams.
Key Responsibilities: Create, edit, format, and finalize complex documents using Microsoft Word and other document production tools Apply advanced Word features including templates, styles, numbering, cross-references, tables of contents, and other automated formatting Convert, clean up, and troubleshoot documents and PDFs Prepare and update Power Point presentations and Excel spreadsheets Assist internal users with formatting questions and document-related issues Manage multiple requests and deadlines in a high-volume environment Collaborate with a remote team to ensure requests are completed accurately and on time Stay current on document production software, system updates, and workflow improvements
Qualifications: 35 years of experience in document production, word processing, or a similar role Advanced Microsoft Word skills required Strong Excel and Power Point skills Experience working with complex, highly formatted documents Strong proofreading, formatting, and document cleanup abilities Comfortable troubleshooting software and formatting issues Excellent attention to detail and ability to work under tight deadlines Strong communication and customer service skills Able to work independently in a remote environment while remaining highly responsive Legal or professional services experience preferred Experience with tools such as Litera, Kofax/Adobe Acrobat, Doc Xtools, or similar platforms is a plus
Additional Details: This is a remote position, but candidates must be available to travel to the New York office for initial training and onboarding The position supports teams across the firm rather than one specific office or department Candidates must be comfortable with the evening and weekend schedule Addison Group is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
